The silver is scratched from wear and storage, as is typical with pre-owned jewelry. This ring has tarnishing and patina that may not come off when polished. The plating is coming off exposing the sliver underneath causing an uneven tarnishing and discoloring. The band was resized at one point and there is a line where it was soldered together.
