The silver is scratched from wear and storage, as is typical with pre-owned jewelry. This ring has tarnishing and patina that may not come off when polished. 

Each side of the band has a tiny piece of chip diamond in the design. The design makes it appear to have 6 settings on the sides but 5 are silver and only one is a chip diamond.
