sterling silver Mexican artisan alexandrite glass hands necklace
Sterling silver necklace. Qultra the unique necklace with hands holding some type of vessel. The faceted stone changes color in different lights and we try to show that in photos. We know many people label this as alexandrite but we are not sure if it is that or a glass imitating alexandrite. This item is certainly handmade and has production imperfections and inconsistencies. The links are noticeably handmade, the closure is just one of the links that had been cut and bent. The ends or sleeves of the hands are bent up, there is oxidation and residue within the detailing of the item the hands are holding, the residue is very obvious and in many places. There are scratches, scuffs, previous signs of wear, and lots of tarnishing and oxidation. The jump rings connecting the handmade links are not sterling silver.
The silver is scratched from wear and storage, as is typical with pre-owned jewelry. This jewelry may also have tarnishing and patina that may not come off when polished.
Hands are approximately 1-3/4” long
Vessel hands are holding is 2-3/4” x 1-1/2” at widest point
Chain on each side is approximately 6-3/4”
Appears to wear like an 18” chain but may be a little shorter
