The silver is scratched from wear and storage, as is typical with pre-owned jewelry. This ring has tarnishing and patina that may not come off when polished. 

Please note, there are very noticeable dents on the face of the ring! This has a rhodium plating that is wearing off in areas exposing the silver underneath. This is causing uneven tarnishing and discoloring.
